Terms of service

1. Who we are

littlemaddy.com is run by LittleMaddy, Czaar Peterstraat 255, 1018 PL Amsterdam, Netherlands. Email: Contact@littlemaddy.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Refund, Shipping, Subscription and Privacy policies. LittleMaddy is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, KvK number 42146069.

2. Who can order

You must be 18 or over. We deliver worldwide (see our Shipping policy). Our products are for personal use, not resale.

3. Our products

The LittleMaddy Pod is an ultrasonic and UV cleaning device for retainers, clear aligners, night guards, sports guards and dentures. It's a cleaning product, not a medical device, and it doesn't replace advice from your dentist or orthodontist. Please follow the instructions:

  • Use warm, never hot, water.
  • Rinse your appliance before wearing it.
  • Never swallow a cleaning tablet.
  • Keep tablets away from children.
  • Stop using them and speak to your dentist if you notice any irritation.

We try hard to show our products accurately, but colours can look slightly different on different screens.

4. Orders and contract

When you place an order, we'll email you an order confirmation. The contract between us starts when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, can't be shipped to your country, or the price was clearly wrong. If we do, we'll refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

UK prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Prices for other countries are shown in euros or your local currency; import taxes or duties may apply on delivery as set out in our Shipping policy. Delivery is free. We take payment when you place your order. For the Clean Club, we also take payment every 30 days, as set out in our Subscription policy.

6. Delivery

Delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping policy. The goods are your responsibility once they've been delivered to you.

7. Cancellations, refunds and faulty goods

You can cancel within 14 days of delivery, and you're also covered by our 30-morning promise. Your statutory rights for faulty goods (in the UK under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and in the EU under your local consumer law) always apply. See our Refund policy for full details.

8. Reviews

Reviews on our website are from real customers. Where a customer received something in return for a review (for example, a free refill box in our Founding 100 programme), the review is clearly labelled. By submitting a review, you confirm it's honest and your own, and you allow us to show it on our website and social channels.

9. Our liability

If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption or extreme weather. If this happens, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a full refund.

11. Law and disputes

If you live in the UK, the law of the part of the UK where you live applies to these terms, and you can bring legal proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the EU, Dutch law applies, but you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country. If there's ever a problem, please email us first. We'll always try to put it right.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
